Hey gals and guys!

 

So, I have a tumblr and facebook page that has all of my style thoughts. I update my pages regularly with gorgeous photos of fashionable people all around the world, runway looks, fashion  edtiors, style bloggers and good music.

I will continue to post on this blog as well. But, for more photos and less writing check out my other pages. I will post the links on my homepage one day soon.

Chanel Iman’s newest photos by Gavin Bond for Gotham Magazine February 2012 are here! Iman looks gorgeous per usual in these photos while were eye popping colors and giving fierce looks.

Chanel Iman may have picked up a thing or two from another style icon, Coretta Scott King.

King’s style spoke volumes throughout her life especially during the difficult times of the Civil Rights Movement.  Below, is a lovely photo that captured a moment in time that can never be replaced.

F3: Oakland Fashion Show

  A perfect Friday night consists of hot fashion, hotter friends, good music and food and lots of drinks.

This past Friday ( October 21,2011), I attended F3, a fashion show held at the Cotton Mill Studios on 1091 Calcot Place

The event began at 6pm and ended at 10pm — great timing to hit a local bar ( Luka’s
and Lounge) afterwards.

I had a great time — spotting a few hot men, ate a great pizza from Fist Flour Pizza and had some great laughs with Theresa and Grace.

   Every winter/fall season there are a few staple items that are a must! Cheetah print is in this season and is always a classic. A classic black pencil skirt can be worn throughout any season –spring, winter, fall or summer. But, I think that wearing a sexy tight can accentuate the skirt. This season for shoes, the thick squared heel is in from H&M’s rendition of the loafer heel to Coach leatherwear to Jeffrey Campbell.
Accessories: Gold and Black 
With this outfit, the Cheetah print makes the look pop so there is no need to over accessorize. A necklace is not needed because of the blouse’s bow creates enough busi-ness. A classic earring that is gold will accentuate the yellows in the cheetah print and contrast well against the black skirt and black pump.
The gold ring will add on to the image that the earring gives the cheetah print.
THE BAG
I chose a shoulder bag with a gold chain to accentuate the cheetah print but also to continue adding on to the already classic look. Of course, I chose the Chanel shoulder bag to match with the earring. But, if you are wearing a gold and black earring — any shoulder bag with a gold chain will do the trick.
RED LIPS
A classic way to bring out an outfit is to build on it with a great lip color. Red is a great color for all seasons –summer, spring, winter and fall. It is a staple color and can be worn with just about anything. I chose red because it contrasts so greatly with cheetah print and adds some life to the outfit during winter months. Just because the weather might be rainy and or snowy doesn’t mean your face can’t be “beat”.*

So, try something new this winter—weather it be the red lip or something cheetah print.
